Ghanaian youth have been advised to use social media to learn about new ideas and develop skills to become entrepreneur.
The Queen mother of Sakumono Divisional Area under the Nungua Traditional Council of the Greater Accra Region, Naa Borley Wulu II, who gave the advise in an interview with the Ghanaian Voice in Accra, said with available technology, free flow of information and several opportunities to upgrade themselves.
She urged the youth to desist from spending time to insult others and also do away watching phonographic materials on the internet.
Naa Borley Wulu II, also entreated the youth to become entrepreneur by using social media to market their products and services since it is the cheapest means of promoting brands both locally and internationally.
She noted that social media such as WhatsApp, Twitter, Facebook among others provide instant access to information through the World Wide Web without any additional marketing cost.
Naa Borley Wulu II, reiterated that the online resources provide a highly intensive platform for the entrepreneur and clients on products and services.
She therefore admonished students to desist from posting nude pictures on social media but rather use their smart phones to develop academically and professionally.
