Take Regular Physical Exercise Serious – Gym Instructor


Ghanaians have been encouraged to engage in regular physical exercise in order to remain healthy at all times.


People who engaged regularly in physical exercises had sound minds apart from staying healthy to contribute towards the development of the country.

Speaking in an interview with Ghanaian Voice in Accra, a certified fitness instructor of the Silver Shells Fitness and Wellness Centre, Godfred Asamoah, explained that exercising daily helps prevent some diseases.

He noted that most Ghanaians are prone to high blood pressure and cardio vascular diseases due to lack of exercise, bad eating habits among others saying; regular exercise could curb these ailments.

Mr. Asamoah noted that regular exercise reduces weight and other unwanted materials in the body such as fats and cholesterol thereby enhancing good health.

He said regular exercise also releases waste materials from the body and protect it from being attacked by diseases.

Mr. Asamoah encouraged Ghanaians to reduce their oil and fat intake so as not to contract diabetes, which was fast eating into the society.

He advised the public to avoid eating late in the night and exercise the body after taking their meals since digestion did not work properly when a person was asleep.
