Nii Abbey Okanfrah Honoured By Muslim Group Ghana And Zongo People.Com


The Development Chief of Sarpeiman and Chief Executive Office of Sissamba Empire, Nii Abbey Okanfrah I, has been honoured by the Muslim Group Ghana and the Zongo respectively in Accra for his immense contribution to the development of the Muslim community.


He was adjudged the Best Muslim Development Chief of the year 2019/2020 and Muslim Heroes 2020.

The awards was aimed at recognizing, reward, celebrate and motivate high achievement, along with positive and productive contributions to society by Muslims over the past years.

Presenting the award to Nii Abbey Okanfrah I, the Minister for Zongo and Inner City Development, Mustapha Abdul-Hamid, who was the special guest of honour said if Muslims as a people are rewarding excellence, they themselves must also be excellent in their doings.

“I urge all Muslim faithful to be united and not divided. Our relationship with one another are elements that can attain us paradise”.

Receiving the awards, Nii Abbey Okanfrah I, expressed appreciation to the organisers of the awards for the honour bestowed on him.

He promised to continue supporting the Muslim community and the less privileged in society.

Nii Abbey Okanfrah I, was presented with plaque and citation for recognition of his immense contribution and educating Islamic communities through Chieftaincy as a development of Sarpeiman.
