Ngleshie Alata Paramountcy Declares Nii Ahuma Kojo James Town Chief

The Acting President of Ngleshie Alata Traditional Council of Jamestown, Nii Armah Kwaofio II, has drawn the attention of Ministry of Chieftaincy and the security agencies of an existing installed Chief in the person of Nii Ahuma Kojo III, as the Chief of James town.

The Acting President in a letter dated 4th October copied to the Minister of Chieftaincy Affairs and all the security agencies said Nii Ahumah Kojo III, was validly nominated, elected and installed as the Ngleshie Alata Chief.

All traditions and customarily rites have been done for Nii Ahuma Kojo III, and upon which he has sworn an oath to the Stool.

The letter to the Chieftaincy Ministry and the security agencies followed his investigation as the Acting President with regards to the Ngleshie Alata Mantse, thus Ngleshie Alata Paramount Chiefs position.

After the demise of the Ngleshie Alata Paramount Chief, Oblempong Nii Kojo Ababio V, Oblempong Nii Ahuma Kojo III was installed to succeed him 29th October, 2018.

Nii Ahuma Kojo III has been validly nominated, elected and installed as the Ngleshie Alata Chief.

All traditions and customarily rites have been done for Nii Ahuma Kojo III, and upon which he has sworn an oath to the Stool.

“I am by this letter informing all agencies that Ngleshie Alata has installed a Paramount Chief with the title and status Oblempong Nii Ahuma Kojo III, known in private life as Henry Nunoo Koppoe.’ The statement concluded.
