I’ve Not Threatened To Kill My Nephew – Kpoo Kɛkɛ CEO

The Chief Executive Officer, CEO, of Liberty Industries, producers of Kpoo Kɛkɛ, an alcoholic beverage, Nii Botwe Laryea II, has refuted allegation of threatening to kill his nephew, Francis Afotey Mensah, describing it as malicious, unfounded and baseless.

It will be recall that Francis Afotey Mensah alleged that his uncle, Nii Botwe Laryea II, threatened to kill him for venturing into his own alcoholic beverage.

The CEO of Liberty Industries, Nii Botwe Laryea II, at a press briefing in Accra said the allegation levelled against him is fabrication to destroy his image and the hard earned toil.

According to him, Francis Afotey Mensah was once his employee, but misconducted himself and left to establish his own company.

Nii Botwe Laryea II, explained that Francis’ company produces similar product as his, and as a result goes about telling his
customers that Kpoo kɛkɛ which they have been patronising was not a good product.

He alleged that Francis rather transferred a total sum of 140 million Ghana Cedis from the company’s account to his personal account with Ghana Commercial Bank, a case which is in court.

Nii Botwe Laryea II therefore called on Ghanaians to disregard the publication which
has since gone viral.

“You have been taking Kpoo kɛkɛ for many years now; it has won many prestigious awards by reputable organisers”. He stated.

He entreated Francis Afotey Mensah to desist
from what he described as abject falsification of untruth against his company and products.
