The President of the Greater Accra Yoruba Community, Amb. Oloye Fatuyi FIIM, has urged all, especially the youths to use the Easter celebrations to renew their strengths in God and eschew all forms of social vices.
In his Easter message to all and especially the youths, he said the resurrection of Jesus Christ on the third day is a testimony of a new life of hope, promise and fulfilment for those who believe and work hard towards the achievement of victory.
Amb. Oloye Fatuyi FIIM admonished the youth to eschew the penchant for money and move towards securing the highest form of education for the betterment of their lives.
He noted that monetising one’s youthful life can be disastrous as no one can compare education with money.
Amb. Oloye Fatuyi FIIM urged the youth to channel their strength and knowledge towards a better future not to destroy their future.
“We should all see the death and the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ as a great hope for a better future if only we are honest, sincere and love each other.” He stated.
He stated that mentorship and volunteerism is crucial in the development of every nation’s youth and human resource adding that; instilling potent and ethical values, patriotism, discipline, confidence, and selflessness leading to sustainable economic development.
Amb. Oloye Fatuyi FIIM used the Easter celebrations to also remind politicians, wealthy people in society and corporate institutions to align their corporate social responsibly activities to support the country to sustain national development.
