The Central Region deserves thanks for their contributions in the 2020 elections. We had 4 seats prior to the elections and today, we can boast of 13 solid seats, though there were some seats we could have won and others we should have protected.

Thanksgiving is a moral and religious demand when someone does something good to you. Today we are in the region to show our appreciation to the people who defied covid, and came out in their numbers to show their anger and their resolve for change.

If I say next elections will be do or die, I mean it, and it means no thievery, nor fraudulent activity will be tolerated. When I say this, I am talking about vigilance at all levels of the process.

In Central Region, there are a lot we can say on authority that we contributed to its uplifting. Every project Prof Attah Mills started, i pledged to complete it and by the grace of God I was able to complete all in my tenure, he said.

Talking of projects, he said emphatically that these are not toilets and speed ramps projects that some people campaigned with. We can talk of brand new schools,Regional hospitals; Cape Coast teaching hospitals, polyclinics, asphalt roads, water projects and what have you.

If we want to add schools under trees and District assembly projects , we will not end this interview. We did this with a heart of service and with an appreciation to the people who queue to vote for us every 4 years.

Look at the state of Komenda Sugar factory, Today they want to privatise it because of their incompetence or lack of understanding to the needs of nation. If the factory is not sold out and we come back to power, I promise you that the sugar factory will be back on its feet.

In summary, the country is not on the right path, but we can only work hard to ensure that the party remains resolute to take power in 2024. For today, we are in town to thank the people of Cape Coast for their contribution towards the 2020 election success.

We did so well and we can only improve upon what we did. The party is grateful and I am personally grateful to all who placed their shoulder to the wheel and to all those who also placed resources at our disposal to ensure the hight we attained in 2020 he concluded.
