The National Democratic Congress, NDC, Parliamentary Candidate for East Tema Constituency, Isaac Ashai Odamtten has promised the constituents a trusted and servant leadership when given the nod come December 7, 2020.
According to him, not only has the call to serve emanated from the people for which reason he is in the race, but he was also happy about the result of a cursory survey by way of house-to-house conducted indicates that majority of the East Tema constituents are yearning for the return of John Dramani Mahama as president, and Isaac Ashai Odamtten, not Mayor this time, but as their member of parliament.
He said this when he successfully filed his nomination at the EC office in Tema on Wednesday. The filing was characterised with a massive procession of a sort, by party members and sympathisers from Tema New Town all the way to the EC office at Community Four.
The affable and tolerant former Tema Mayor entreated all the people in East Tema to join team Ashai to make the expected difference they await.
Mr. Odamtten who many people tip to topple the incumbent, Titus Glover therefore thanked the constituency leadership both past and present for their campaign strategy, and implored the various wards as well as all members to intensify their house-to-house evangelism to consolidate the victory of the NDC which is imminent.
A breakaway member of the East Tema Constituency NDC who contested as an independent candidate in the 2016 elections, Theophilus Ankamah Densu-Tetteh who has returned to the party said, a card bearing member, he is back for good to help push the party into victory, calling for unity without which the task cannot be accomplished.
