Hon. Dzifa Gomashie, the Paliamentary Candidate for Ketu South Constituency has donated Veronica Buckets to motor riders popularly known as Okada drivers in Ketu South and some health facilities in Ketu South.
This is to promote the washing of hands to prevent the spread of COVID 19 in the Constituency and by extension the country.
The Constituency is home to the country’s biggest and busiest border, the famous Aflao-Lome Border.
Hon. Dzifa Gomashie in her statement advised the Motor riders to wash their hands frequently, use sanitizers observe the recommended Social Distancing space of three feet and wear nose masks to prevent contracting or spreading the COVID 19.
The Chairmen of the various Motor points expressed their appreciation to Hon. Dzifa Gomashie for her thoughtfulness and motherly concern.
The Okada Group at Awakome Junction showered praises on Hon. Dzifa Gomashie for the support which shows she cares about the life of the people of Ketu South.
The various points which received the buckets were the Security Agencies at the Aflao Border, Ketu South Municipal Hospital, Motor Riders at Aflao Police station, Makavo Junction, Awakorme, Avoeme, Viepe, Denu, and Klikor junction .
