An Accra High Court (Lands Division) has granted an interlocutory injunction against Nii Ayi Okufuobour I, Chief of Ngleshie Lafa- Barima Nmarko, and Marty Nii Danso, restraining them, their agents, assigns, heirs, successors and workmen from undertaking construction work or alienating any position of the disputed Dansoman land until such final determination by the Court.
The court granted the injunction upon a motion on notice for an order of interlocutory injunction filed by Nii Ayi Okufuobour I, Chief of Ngleshie Lafa- Barima Nmarko on 12th October 2021 in suit No LD/0609/2021 against the defendant and Marty Nii Danso over the disputed Dansoman lands situate behind the Dansoman Keep fit club,
The injunction granted is expected to halt the misappropriation of Dansoman lands by persons who claims the land belongs to them and not Ngleshie Alata.
Upon reading the affidavit of Nii Ayi Okufuobour, the deponent and applicant herein filed on 12 October,2021 in support of Motion on notice for an order of interlocutory injunction.
And upon hearing the submissions of Abdul -Gafar Ablorh Abordo ESQ, council for and on behalf of plaintiff and council for defendant, Prosper Yaw Ntow ESQ.
It is hereby ordered that both parties, their agents, workmen, assigns, privies, representatives and all those claiming through them are restrained from having any dealings with the land, the subject matter of dispute pending the final determination of the suit, signed by Issaharku Musah(Registrar) dated 16 November, 202.
