The President of the Yoruba Community in Greater Accra region of Ghana, Chief Oloye Yemi Fatuyi, has been honoured by the Tribute Concert, TC, and Awards as the Yoruba Image Ambassador over the weekend in Accra Ghana.
He is among other individuals of Yoruba decent honoured for their outstanding achievements, and excellence and has projected the good deeds of the ethnic group.
The event aimed at celebrating the impact of Yorubas In Ghana who has made a lasting impact and contributed immensely and meaningfully to the growth of their communities and projected the good deeds of Yorubas In Ghana.
This occasion was also an avenue to encourage the youths to have a great legacy and to further deepen the relationship between the Yorubas from Nigeria and Ghana.
The Chairman of the planning committee of the TC Awards, Dr Olaide Oluwamayowa Jose Alaaye, a Yoruba Community Leader opines that the TC Awards present the opportunity to appreciate past and present Yoruba heroes as well as appreciate the good works of iconic tribesmen.
He further noted that it was an avenue to encourage the youth to aspire to build legacies that live beyond them.
He stated that the honours and the awards were very important and underlined the clear indication that Chief Oloye Yemi Fatuyi, in no doubt, committed himself to projecting the image of the Yoruba community in the Greater Accra region.
On his part, Chief Oloye Yemi Fatuyi, expressed appreciation to the organisers of the Tribute Concert and Awards whiles stating that this is a humble gesture done him.
Chief Oloye Yemi Fatuyi is an individual committed to working and bringing about transformations in any capacity he finds himself in and to spearheading many high standards achievements within the various capacities, organisations he has served in as a professional. He has also demonstrated success in leading ambitious business change projects, ensuring consistent attainment of deadlines, budget goals and quality expectations as well as building up top-calibre teams by fostering the utmost staff morale and excellence.
