Brich Hub, a Ghanaian based Technology Firm in Accra has been officially launched with its office opened to the general public who desire to take up professions in the world of technology.
In a welcome address, the president of Brich Hub, Mr. Richmond Asumadu disclosed that Brich Hub is a community of technology enthusiasts, professionals and entrepreneurs who connect, share, solve problems and also create opportunities together.
In an interview with the Ghanaianvoiceonline.com after the launch, Mr. Asumadu disclosed that, Brich Hub is an initiative he started with the desire to help solve societal challenges with the use of technology,”
He further stated that he has always been motivated to affect the lives of people in the smallest way he can, this he said sparked the idea that brought Brich Hub into fruition.
He also seized the opportunity to explain some of the hub’s collaborative empowered programs as follows;
Tech for Development, being a designed program to help identify societal issues and provide tech solutions to those issues.
Rural Outreach program; this comprises of a team of tech facilitators who will provide basic Information Technology (IT) training programs for the youth in these areas.
Robotics for kids; this program will also give children the basis for robotics and grow them through.
According to Mr. Asumadu, One major project that covers the majority, with regards to skills development in technology for mainly women and disable persons is the “All in One” program.
He seized the opportunity to make an appeal to the government for its support in the provision of funding as well as expertise .
The president of the Brich Hub advised the youth to desist from fraudulent means of acquiring wealth but rather concentrate on unearthing the various talents hidden in each one of them in order to come up with ideas and innovations that will inure to the benefit of the entire citizenry.
Delivering a key note address on behalf of the Minister for Youth and Sports, the Human Resource Director of the Ministry, Mr. Eric Mensah Bonsu reiterated the Ministry’s mandate to initiate, formulate youth and sports policies as well as coordinate, evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of the performance of the sector to achieve national integration and internal and international recognition.
According to the statement, the Ministry has also sought for opportunities with various private institutions to help execute its mandate in order to benefit the entire country.
Mr. Mensah Bonsu disclosed his outfit’s believe that the opening of the facility will mark the beginning of engagement between the Ministry and the Hub.
” This initiative is a step in the right direction to help develop the human capital of our dear country”, the statement added.
“We will ensure to give our maximum support to this idea and make it stride as a national asset,” Mr. Mensah Bonsu pledged on behalf of the ministry.
In conclusion, Mr Mensah Bonsu commended the president and team at Brich Hub for bringing this great idea to fruition.
